FEEDING WORKSHOP

Amy is a Speech and Language Pathologist who works in the NICU and with children at Blank Children's Hospital. She will be presenting information on struggling feeders. This information will pertain to bottle feeding,transitioning to solid foods,and increasing textures. She will also tie in gross motor milestones in relation to feeding as well as information on sensory and communication in relation to feeding. She is often the practitioner who sees the premature infants prior to discharge to go home. She has a good understanding of home intervention services and what our role is.
