WEEK OF NOVEMBER 13, 2023
Message from the Principal
Students & Parents,
We hope you had a great weekend despite the cold and rain! While this long weekend begins a series of breaks and holidays to come, these are important weeks as we work toward the end of 1st Semester. Our teachers are making the most of every day, and your student's attendance at school is imperative to ensure a strong finish to 1st Semester.
Also, it's hard to believe, but it's already time to start looking ahead to planning for the 2024-2025 school year. While our College Access Team is already entrenched in this work with our seniors, it's time to begin planning with our 8th-11th graders, as well. To kick off registration and applications related to High School Registration, we are announcing our High School Preview night for November 29. This night will also be an opportunity for our 6th & 7th grade families to visit classrooms, and we hope all families will join us for dinner! You can read more about this event in the newsletter below. Additional information will be coming out soon, but for now, please add this date to your calendar...you won't want to miss it!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe

GLOW is partnering with Pajama Jams to collect NEW pajamas (size 5T - Adult XL) in November. Donations can be dropped at the front office, or a member of the High School National Honors Society or Middle School Student Government Association will come around to collect during Advisory. Once GLOW collects 100 pairs of PJ's we will have a PJ day on December 1st!
Pajama Jams is a local nonprofit that collects and distributes pajamas within the immediate area to those in need. To date, they've collected and distributed more than 20,000 pairs of jammies!
