The Aboriginal Perspective
There were 250 tribes through out Australia. There is over 1 billion Aboriginal people living here prior to first fleet landing. The longest living civilisation in the world.
They sailed into Sydney Harbour on the 25.1.1788 first stood on Australian soil 26.1.1788 there was11 ship 1300 people half were convicts.
At first the British soldiers tried to get to know the Aboriginal people, there are painting showing them dancing together Aboriginal people couldn’t tell men from women because of strange clothing Governor Arthur Phillip had his front tooth missing sign of manhood to Aboriginal people.
Governor Arthur Phillip arrived in Australia with enough supplies to start building the first settlement.The British had declared Australia their land, British grew food for themselves but did not share with the Aboriginal people. the Aboriginals shared what came from the land conflict occurred.
