Kirk Fenton News
16th November 2018
Dear Parents / Carers,
We have had a very busy week this week yet again. Year two have had a great week outdoors learning new skills and the hockey team secured a fabulous third place, representing the school so well. Today we all wore bright colours for Children in Need and I am sure that I heard the first Christmas carols in school earlier in the week, where does the time go?
On that note, next week we will be holding an open morning and afternoon for parents wanting a Reception place for September 2019. Tours around school will be led by our Year six team captains. If you know of anyone who is interested in a place, then please ask them to book a tour at the school office.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams

Reason to celebrate!
We have great news this week. On Monday we received a donation from The Yorkshire Charity following their amazing annual summer ball fundraiser. We were delighted to receive a cheque for £460 - that's another two Chromebook laptops for the Kirk Fenton kids!
Christmas plans
Next Thurs 22nd November is the next Christmas Fair meeting - please come along if you'd like to get involved, alternatively email us if you can volunteer to help. It's at 7pm at the Fenton Flyer in Church Fenton. This will be followed by our standard committee meeting where we will vote on how the money we raise should be spent - everyone is welcome!
