Fun Run Fundraiser-Mybooster.com
Thank you for helping support our school during our first big fundraiser in 2 years. We were able to raise $18,500 which was 75% of our $25,000 goal. Your fundraising efforts help support our school in a variety of ways. The GES Home and School Association (GES HSA) has funded multiple projects in our school. Examples of these projects are playground upgrades/additions, technology, classroom parties, author visits, assemblies, and much much more. We are looking forward to an increase of activities and opportunities for our students in the 2022-2023 school year. None of this would be possible without the generous support of our families. Thank you for that! Next week we will be celebrating our fundraising efforts with a popsicle party on Tuesday. On Friday, we will Slime a mystery staff member at our talent show! It has been a great way to end the 2021-2022 school year with fun, laughter, smiles, and exercise.
A Special Thank You to Douglas Township Police Officers!
I am very thankful for our community police officers and their support of our school and students. Douglas Township Police officers often visit GES to walk the halls, visit lunch and play at recess with our students. You might have seen Officer Poux playing tag in our circle Friday morning. We are so fortunate to have such a close and collaborative relationship with our first responders!
Attention 4th and 5th Grade Parents/Guardians!
All 4th and 5th grade students including virtual students will need to drop off their Chromebooks on June 3rd. The drop off location will take place in each individual students’ homeroom. Virtual students will return to their home building main offices. We will make every attempt to make sure an IT Technician is onsite and will be available for questions or issues that may arise.
The following must be completed prior to drop off.
- ALL stickers must be removed from the Chromebook prior to drop off (except silver Boyertown asset tag on the back). All machines should be free of stickers and other identifying marks at all times.
- Chromebook should be in working condition (if not, please place IT ticket now so repairs can be completed prior to handing in your Chromebook.)
- CHARGERS WILL BE COLLECTED. ALL CHARGERS SHOULD BE NEATLY WRAPPED AND PLACED IN PROVIDED BOX.
- Teachers will be checking for physical damage, keyboards, and screens which all must in working condition
- If any repairs are needed, the student will be assessed a $30.00 technology repair fee.
If the laptop is not returned on June 3rd, the student will be assessed a $238 fee on Monday, June 6th. Laptops will be disabled and unable to be logged into on June 6, 2022. We will not be having collection dates after June 3rd. The student will need to put in a ticket within the helpdesk system and work with a technician for a date and time to return the laptop to get the fee removed. This collection will take place in the Information Technology offices at the High School.
