Dismissal
Please also understand that this is not a time to talk with the teacher about your child's progress. Teachers are very busy at this time making sure that students are being picked up and it is not an ideal area to talk about items that are confidential. If you would like to meet with your child's teacher please email them directly and ask for a zoom conference.
MAP Testing
As these are standardized tests, they cannot be studied for, but we do encourage you to have your child get a good. night's rest and eat a healthy breakfast each day. In addition, please avoid making appointments for your child during the school day.
Please understand that we are not able to administer theses assessments to fully online students nor IF we are required to go online as a school.
Parent's Guide to Map Testing
Birthdays:
Please do not send in anything with nuts. Treats should be store bought and individually wrapped. Healthy treats would be best but individual, prepackaged cupcakes would be fine. Please do not send in large cakes that need to be sliced.
Please drop off your child's treats at security inside gate 1. A matron will come and collect the items and bring them to class.
Reminders:
Reminders:
A. Please have your students bring extra masks to school. They are required and need to be used. Please do remind your children of this.
B. All people who are dropping off students or picking them up should be masked as well. This ensures everyone's safety.
C. If you are having someone pick up your student you must have submitted the proper form from the Transportation department in advance. we must have a record of the people you are allowing to pick up your students. This is for their health and safety.
D. Please remember that this is the first time in a year and a half that we have all students back to school. Last year at most we had 50% of the students and many days it was far less. We currently have 1660 students and a limited number of gates available for entry and dismissal. We are working on ways to eliminate the crowding at the front gates in the afternoon and will share changes as they occur. Please help us out by sending only one person to pick up students at the gates.
