Junior Family Meetings
During March, the CHS School Counselors would like to schedule a 30-minute meeting with each Junior student and their parent(s)/guardian. In this meeting, we will discuss the senior year and talk about the students’ plans for life after high school. To schedule a meeting please follow the Calendly link for your student’s counselor. School counselor caseloads are split up by alphabet. Please choose the counselor that corresponds with your student's last name.

Adolescent Brain Development
Your brain begins to change in the back of your brain, in the parts of the brain that control your senses, vision and physical movement. The front part of your brain, the parts associated with planning, emotional control, and problem-solving develop last.
This video does a great job of explaining how your brain is developing and this article also offers some insights.
