A Message From Principal Choquette 8/31/18
Good afternoon. I don't usually send out a weekly on the first Friday, but we had such a great start to the year yesterday, I thought it would be nice to do one.
Thank you so much to all of the faculty and staff who worked hard all summer to get our school ready for yesterday. I always feel like a kid at Christmas on the first day of school, it is so exciting for me to welcome everyone back. I am truly blessed to be working with such wonderful educators, families, and of course students.
I would like to officially welcome Elizabeth Byl as our new fourth grade teacher. She is no longer a long-term sub and has been hire as the new teacher. Welcome "Miss Liz." I'd also like to announce that Miss Nora is the new head teacher. Miss Nora will now be acting principal when I am out of the building. Congratulations Miss Nora and thank to our former head teacher, Mrs. Carol Ruyffelaert for her service as head teacher over the past few years.
Next week we will welcome our youngest of students, our preschoolers and kindergarteners. Our first family dinner will be for our kindergarten families on Thursday, September 6th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. We hope all kindergarten families can join us for some food and time to get to know each other.
