The Trojan War Hero
In Greek mythology this was the name of the hero who fought for the Greeks in the Trojan War.Ajax was a strong and brave warrior, he even lead the Trojan War. He was the son of King Telamon and Periboea. After Achilles returned from a trip, he was killed, and his armor was given to Odysseus, Ajax was jealous and killed himself. Some of his nicknames were "Telamonian Ajax," "Greater Ajax," or "Ajax the Great"
One of the possibility that the creators named it Ajax was because the mythological figure was a warrior who "cleaned up" The Trojan War. Ajax didn’t need no help from the Greek Gods, and Ajax the cleanser is capable of cleaning up in the house without assistance from other products.
