Public housing in Singapore are a large variety of flats types and layouts which cater to various housing budgets. HDB flats were built primarily to provide affordable housing for the poor and their purchase can be financially aided by the Central Provident Fund. Due to changing demand there were more up market public housing development in recent years.

Tiong Bahru is the only place in Singapore which have old houses and buildings. The new houses are built behind the old house as it is comparing between the old and new. The difference about the old buildings and new buildings is that the old buildings has no bomb shelter in their own building while the new one has their own bomb shelter in their own building.
Housing in the Future
As years goes by, SIngapore has been turning into advance city. More and more of the neighbourhoods housing designs will change to be more on the trending designs. Due to the trending designs, more people are trying to buy these apartment.
