Reader's Response
When predicted to be King, Macbeth has a seed sewn in his mind about this. As the seed is growing, he has weird ideas of killing the king. He says, if chance my crown me, then chance may crown me without my stir. That means he isn't going to do anything about it and wait to become king. However, when Lady Macbeth finds out, she likes the idea of becoming Queen.
