Health Survey
On Tuesday, November 29th, all students will complete the GA Student Health Survey during Tutorial. The link for the health survey is located at bit.ly/TigersHS. Please print out a roster for your Tutorial group. Once all students log on, they should complete the survey and raise their hand PRIOR to clicking submit. You must see each student click submit and then have them initial the roster that indicates they have completed the survey. (THIS PIECE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT - If a student says they accidentally clicked submit and you did not see them click submit, they will have to do the survey again.
Staff must also complete a survey. You can find the survey by clicking the button below. Please complete the survey no later than close of business on November 29th.
SEL Standards Implementation
As a reminder, please link artifacts demonstrating how you are implementing the indicated SEL standards in your classroom according to the division of standards on the chart below.
Door Decorating Competition
We will be hosting a door decorating competition with a holiday theme. You can start as early as you would like, but judging will take place on December 16th. The top 3 doors will receive a Crumble Cookie of your choice. There is no requirement to participate.
A few guidelines:
- No decorations or other objects shall be placed to obstruct exits, access thereto, egress therefrom, or visibility thereof.
- Projections from the ceiling are not less than 6 ft. 8 in. above the floor.
- It is recommended that artwork and teaching material adjacent to exit access doors be placed at a minimum distance of 10 ft. from the outer edge of the door frame.
- Window on the door cannot be covered.
Fun Food Friday - A Taste of Italy
After a great deal of feedback, Fun Food Friday for November and December is going to be combined to one celebration. On December 2nd we will have Italian Christmas! Since the holidays are a financially stressing time for everyone, this celebration will be done through a volunteer sign up. If you have not already taken part in a Fun Food Friday, please feel free to sign up to bring a dish. Those of you that have already been gracious enough to feed the staff, do not feel obligated to volunteer.
Midyear Conferences
Updated Duties Schedules
Please see the link below for updated duties beginning November 28th. Be sure to check the morning duties tab and the lunch duties tab. There will no longer be departmental coverage in the gym in the mornings. Only the teachers listed on this document will provide gym morning supervision.
Updated Attendance Procedures
Homeroom teachers are not required to call home for students with 3 consecutive absences. Ms. Grigsby and Ms. Wheeler will be running a daily report for students with consecutive absences and calling home. Notes will be placed in the Contact Log section of PowerSchool.
If a student is absent and brings an excuse, DO NOT accept the excuse. Send the student to the front office to turn the excuse note into the basket located on the front desk.
