Message from Mrs. Carey!

Dear KES families,

Happy Thursday and happy FALL! Besides the crazy rain today, hope you all are enjoying the amazing temperatures that fall brings to our region:) Thank you to our 4th and 5th graders for their hard work with testing this week! They were focused, on task and gave it their ALL! So proud of our KES Tigers!

Reminder that our Constitution Day celebration was rescheduled for tomorrow, September 24th! We would LOVE to see our students in their RED, WHITE and BLUE gear to celebrate the day!

In advance, THANK YOU to all of our families that have reached out to our staff with student signs and symptoms of illness. It is evident that you are checking your child each morning, prior to sending them to KES; this has allowed us to be very proactive and is eliminating the spread of germs to others. We want to continue to keep all of our students healthy and happy this school year!

We have a ton of upcoming events! Please mark your calendars!

  • September 30th: Join us for our "Book BOP"! DJ's, Dancing and Books! See flyer!
  • September 24th-October 1st: KES Book Fair!
  • October 29th: Fall FUN FAIR and Food Truck Night! More details are forthcoming!
  • November 1st: ALL schools Closed; Staff Professional Development
  • November 2nd & 3rd: 1/2 Day for Students; Parent Conferences
