Hewitt-Trussville Wrestling moved to 2-0 in 7A Region 3 play as they defeated Spain Park 49-23 on Tuesday night. The Huskies won nine of 14 matches on the night.

Hewitt-Trussville Basketball will begin 7A Area 6 play on Friday night when they travel to Vestavia. The HT Girls are now 16-3 on the year and are riding a six-game winning streak. The Huskies were a perfect 5-0 over the holiday break.

On Tuesday, the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) announced Fall sport classification information for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. Winter sport classification information will be announced in March 2022 and Spring sport classification information will be released in May 2022.
