Avery Moments

January 2, 2022

Dear Avery Families,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and vacation.

We are excited to welcome the children back to school! As we head into school there has been a huge uptick in positive COVID cases. Please remember to reach out to Sheila Bennett if your child has tested positive or become a close contact over the vacation. She will be able to help you navigate your child's return to school. Our pooled testing will resume tomorrow. Please consider enrolling your child if you have not done so yet.

We will continue our safety protocols that have been in place: masks, hand sanitizing, air purifiers, distancing and opening windows. As we head into the colder weather please send your child to school in warm clothes or layers.

We intend to hold outdoor recess unless the temperature and wind chill make it unsafe, so please make sure to send your child with a winter jacket, hat and gloves or mittens. If your child is in need of any of these, please reach out to me or Mrs. Bennett.

Welcome back!

Weekly Routine COVID Safety Checks (pooled testing)

Avery continues to participate in weekly pooled testing. If your child does not participate, particularly with the uptick in positive cases, I highly encourage you to consider enrolling him/her. If you have not enrolled your child and are interested, please click here.

Daily attendance is extremely important for consistency. However, if your child is not feeling well please keep them home. If your child is going to be absent, dismissed or late please call the attendance line 781-326-5799 to report this.
