Some Fun Sites to Check out for the Holidays
Check out these sites and apps with your family and friends over the holiday break!
- Track Santa's Location - Norad Santa uses Google Earth to track Santa's location. Includes a Kid's Countdown Village with a new holiday game everyday until December 24th, The Music Stage with Santa's favorite holiday songs, and more.
- St. Nicolas Center for Kids - History of Santa Claus explored around the world.
- Northpole.com - Christmas-centric playground with safe seasonal activities. Kids can also write a letter to Santa and expect a response back. (Santa letter requires a teacher or parent to do a free sign up first)
- The Toymaker - this free site's wide range of hands-on activities will appeal to kids who like coloring, drawing, folding, building, animals, magic, holidays, and toys.
- Elf Yourself - lets users create up to five elves using personal photos that will dance in a brief video. You can view the video as many times as you like, in one sitting, without entering any personal info. If you wish to save or share your video it does requires you to enter an email address and click on a link sent to your email to validate your account.
- Christmas Tale App - Christmas Tale is part of a collection of unique, rich and intensely interactive children’s story books by Tabtale LTD (does not work on Chromebook)
