Greetings Twelve Bridges Elementary Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Thank you to our PTC and all of the volunteers who came in to help with our first Penguin Patch holiday store. The kids really loved it!

Winter Musical Parent Information

Hello TBES Families!

It is that time of year again - Winter Musicals! I have been working hard with your children and they sound terrific. Your child should come to the OUTSIDE stage area at their scheduled class time (15 minutes prior to their performance time), dressed in their holiday best. We will bring them inside about 10 minutes before their performance begins and will dismiss them through the side stage doors. Listen at the end of the concert for which side door your child will be coming out from.

The schedule is as follows:

MONDAY, December 10, 2018

1st Grade Performance 5:30pm (arrive 5:15pm)

2nd Grade Performance 6:15pm (arrive 6:00pm)

There will also be a Christmas Choir concert at 7:00pm (arrive 6:45) with our 3rd-5th grade choir members!

Thank you!

Winter Book Fair

The Winter Book Fair is here! The Book Fair is open to students all week long. Each class will visit the book fair on their library day. This is their designated "private" shopping time for just their class. If you'd like your student to make their purchases at that time, use the volunteer link below to determine their library day.

The Book Fair will be open during the Winter Musical & Choir Performances on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

For those of you not attending the performances on Monday, we will be open until 5:00 on Thursday if you're interested in doing some holiday shopping!

Parents/Guardians, if you'd like to volunteer to help at the book fair, we'd love to have you! Shifts are available throughout the day. Please sign up here .....

Bake Sale/K-Kids

The K-Kids will be selling baked goods prior to all three performances on Monday, December 10th from 5-7. So... if you’d like a sweet treat before you go in, please bring cash and all proceeds will go directly to families affected by the Camp Fire in Paradise.

Thank you in advance!

Lost and Found Items

Parent please check out the items in the lost and found to see if your child might have a jacket, sweatshirt or lunch box. If items have not been picked up by December 20th they will be donated over the break. Thank you!

1st and 2nd Grade Information about Holiday Parties

This year instead of a traditional classroom holiday party, the first and second grade classes thought they would do something to help others in need. What better way to teach our children how to think of others than to give to others. In the spirit of giving, we have decided to create stocking stuffer bags for children who have been affected by the recent Camp Fire in the Paradise/Chico area, as well as our local homeless. Many of these children will not have the type of Christmas our own children enjoy. We thought we could help by providing some basic daily items as well as small Christmas gifts. As you are out doing your own holiday shopping, please consider gathering items to donate for this charity. Please see the flyers below for each grade level for more information. Contact your child's teacher if you have any additional questions.

Donation List: (these are suggested items)

  • Toys: action figures, trivia/memory games, small games, small dolls/clothing, dress up, purses
