From Mr. Wingfield
It has been a really fun HOCO week. I have enjoyed seeing the creativity with our dress up days. We are still looking forward to the HOCO parade and of course the bonfire on Thursday night. I hope everyone comes out to support the community and of course the Panthers on Friday night.
Friday marks the end of the first 6 weeks. Please remind your students to check with their teachers to make sure they have all assignments turned in.
Congratulations to Maysin Boatwright for being our Student of the Month for September. He was nominated for displaying empathy towards others in the classroom and on campus. Way to go Maysin!
As always, if you have any questions please let us know

The Capturing Kids Heart focus for October will be Self-Directed Behavior
Self-Direction is the ability and learned skill to cast a vision of future goals and then take intentional steps toward who, where, and what we want to be. Instead of focusing on things to control or avoid, we emphasize our responsibility to make positive choices related to our emotions, attitudes, and actions.
We will be talking to students about positive choices and making sure our actions reflect those.
Our Student of the Month will also be someone who represents the quality of self-directed behavior and models it daily in class and on the campus.
