Read Across America Day / Dr. Seuss' Birthday
Wednesday, March 2 is National Read Across America Day. This is a day to celebrate the privilege of being able to read. It is also Dr. Seuss' birthday. We want to celebrate this great day!
Several papers have come home detailing activities we have planned for this week. Please look for the coloring contest and the Reading Black Out Chart to be completed at home.
Students are welcome to dress up on the following days:
Tuesday: Cat in the Hat--wear stripes or a hat
Wednesday: Fox in Socks-wear silly socks
Thursday: Green Eggs and Ham-wear something green
Friday: One Fish Two Fish: wear red or blue

White Ribbon Week
White Ribbon Week is coming up Mar 7-11. White Ribbon Week which is dedicated to helping students stay smart and safe on the internet and with their media choices. Students will be learning about safety tips from the state sponsored assembly, NetSmartz, on the 8th. We encourage parents to follow up with their students at home about online safety.

Parents and Pastries / Book Fair
Book Fair Dates - March 14th-17th.
We will be open 30 minutes before and after school, during recess and lunch.
Thursday we will be open until 6:30 pm for SEP Conferences.
No School on the 28th of February
There will be no school on Monday, February 28, and that day will now be a planning day for our educators. This should allow them to get caught up on final preparations for the end of third term and to prepare for fourth term.
