Accreditation Survey

A few weeks ago families were notified that the Archdiocese of Louisville and all of its schools would be administering the National Catholic Identity Defining Characteristics and National Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness surveys as a means to elicit your opinions in an effort to help improve school and diocesan practices. Your opinion is very important to us and we ask that you take the two surveys at this time and submit your answers no later than October 3, 2014. Please be assured that your responses are anonymous, and your honest opinions are appreciated.

Those students whose parents complete both surveys will receive a free-dress down day on October 8. Parents are required to sign a form stating they have completed both surveys in order for their student(s) to receive the free dress down day. The forms is included in this week’s Wednesday folder.

You may find the surveys by clicking on the links provided below. Once you have clicked on the first link, please locate St. Rita School in the drop-down box and click on it. Complete the survey and hit Submit. Repeat the same process for the second link.

Thank you for your participation in these surveys. Your feedback is vital to the Archdiocesan commitment to schools which provide Excellence You Can Believe In. The Archdiocese of Louisville and St. Rita School are grateful for your cooperation. God bless.

Note from Mrs. Garcia

Dear Parents,

Due to my husband's working visa renewal, I will need to be away from school for around two to four weeks. This is the expected time for the U.S. Consulate to go about their process. Mrs. Salinas will be my substitute teacher during my absence. I will be in constant contact with her.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. García

VBRD Survey

Thank you for taking time to complete this survey. All answers are confidential and sent to a third party to analyze the evidence of outcomes with Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline in schools, both individually and collectively.

Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline (VBRD) is a Catholic response to bullying behaviors. We are working toward growth in faith formation through virtues while addressing disruptive and anti-social behavior through restorative practices. This means that we are working to repair damage to relationships and property as a way to make things as right as possible when they go wrong. This process works to support the target of peer mistreatment and hold those responsible for harm accountable for repairing the damage. This is done through spiritual formation and service.

Your honest answers are helpful to researchers in assuring the best practices for implementation of VBRD at St. Rita School. Thank you!
