Have you ever wondered what it was like to have your own horse? Well your about to find out. Horses are loveable animals and are very loyal. Riding horses is fun to but it can be dangerous too. Horses are big and strong animals and they come in many different colors and sizes. If you want to get a horse or take riding lessons you will probably want to read this book.
Chapter 1: Horses Appearance
A horse is a HUGE animal. Its eye is on the side of its head. Horses can not see directly in front or in back of them. The horse has long powerful legs. NEVER stand behind a horse it might kick you. Horses are very powerful animals.

Chapter 3: Breeds
There are many different horse breeds. Draft horses are most used for pulling wagons. A draft horse is a heavy breed that has hairs on its hoofs. Here are some draft breeds: percharon, shire and clydstale. But there are much more. The arabain is usually only one color. Arabains are very intellegent breeds. The thoroughbred is most used for racing because of its speed. A thoroughbred is sixteen to seventeen hands high
Chapter 4: Tack
To ride, you need tack. Tack is a saddle and bridle. There are many different kinds of tack. But the most common tack is the western saddle, english saddle, western bridle and engish bridle. A bridle is the thing that goes on the horses face so you can control it. It does not hurt the horse though. You don't need tack but it is your choice.
