What a week!
Friday morning at the end of the first period, we staged a "Walk of Fame" for our students. We have so much to celebrate! Our girl's basketball team plays tonight in the district championship against Plainwell, and our boy's basketball team won the Wolverine Conference title last night for the 6th-year straight. Our boy's swim team also won the conference title. Individually, we sent two students to individual state competitions - Lane Blanchard for wrestling and Alicyn Klok for bowling!
Outside of athletics, our band received the top scores at their recent MSBOA Festival - straight "1's".
All these students were honored by marching around the school, led by our mascot and drumline. It was a great celebration of student enlivenment in athletics, extra-curricular, and fine arts.

Bulldog Success
Bulldog Success is an after-school program offered Monday thru Thursday from 2:50 PM – 3:40 PM. This program provides an opportunity for students to work on homework, meet with teachers, study for tests, get extra help as needed, and simply have a quiet place to work. 3rd Trimester Bulldog Success will start Monday, March 27th.
Students interested are required to commit to attending at least two days a week (either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday OR students can attend all 4 days Monday – Thursday) for the entire trimester. This is not a “drop-in anytime” program. Students who join and succeed will be able to pick up an extra half credit. Seats are limited. Please use the form below to sign up.
Third Trimester Schedule Changes
Our counselors have been taking student requests for 3rd-trimester schedule changes. Here are a few reminders:
- Schedule changes close on Thursday, March 9.
- We do not change schedules based on teachers, lunches, or friends.
- Requests will be fulfilled only if space allows and it doesn't interfere with your required courses.
- The best way to request a schedule change is to email your counselor, Mrs. Wresnfrow (A-K), or Ms. Williams (L-Z). Let them know the changes you wish to make and they will address it before the trimester ends and send you confirmation if they are able to make the change.
