8th Grade Uniform Buy Back
8th Grade students may dress down for the day if they bring in a set (a top and bottom) of uniforms to trade in. The gently used donations will be cleaned and stored in our clothes closet for future students who have financial burdens that prevent them from purchasing uniforms or if a student needs to change clothes while at school! It's a win-win for everyone!
WBHS Cross Country Interest Meeting
Coach Power is looking forward to meeting rising 9th graders interested in running for cross country next year at WBHS! If you are interested, please make plans to attend the Interest Meeting on May 19th at 6:00PM at the WBHS Cafeteria! Questions? Please email Steve Power at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Field Day 2022
We are so excited to host Field Day for our students! There will be inflatable water slides, water kickball, water balloons, muddy tug-of-war, volleyball, and more! We even have a dunk tank for some very special teachers! Concessions will be sold so be sure to bring a few extra dollars!
It is very important for students to bring a towel, some sunscreen, and a complete change of clothes. They will be returning to class after Field Day, and they will need to be dry to do so. Additionally, bus riders will not be allowed on the bus if they are wearing anything wet! If a student does not bring a change of clothes, they will not be permitted to participate in any water activities.
Please be sure your student wears a dark colored shirt for Field Day. There is a chance students will get wet, and we will need to maintain our dress code guidelines! If a student does not have a dark-colored shirt, they may not be permitted to participate in any water activities.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
8th Grade End of Year Dance
The 8th graders are in for a sweet treat with their Wonka's Wonderland 8th Grade Dance! Students are welcome to dress up or down for this event, and we hope they are as excited as we are! Permission slips have been sent home, and they must be signed and returned to your student's teacher in order for students to attend.
If you are willing to help, we would love to have you! As always, we cannot do the things we do without our Grizzly Parents! Please see the sign up link below to see how you can help!

Join the Bear Creek PTO!
Welcome to our new PTO Board! We are so excited they are here, and we cannot wait to see what they have in store for our faculty and staff, our students, and our community! Please consider joining the PTO as a member!
Student Water Bottles
It is very important that students are bringing a clear water bottle to school with them daily. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide these water bottles to students, and while the water fountains are turned off, it is very important that students have the ability to use our water bottle filling stations.
Ice Cream Sales
Ice Cream sales are in full swing!
All items sold are $1; students will need to bring exact change. Orders will be submitted upon arrival before students get to homebase.
Morning / Afternoon Drop Off / Pick Up
Similar to last year, busses will pick up / drop off at the front the school building. Car riders will pick up / drop off on the cafeteria / gym side of the building. Students are not to be dropped off until 8AM, when the first bell rings. Dismissal begins at 3:10PM. If a student is late, they must be accompanied inside to be checked in by a parent / guardian.
Per the recent announcement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, all Barrow County students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year. Free/Reduced Lunch forms do NOT need to be filled out this year.
Bear Creek Middle School hours are 8:00AM - 3:10PM.
Instructional time begins at 8:30AM.
All students must be checked in and/or out by a parent in the front lobby.
Students cannot be checked out after 2:45pm.
