Indoor air quality!

The EPA's Indoor Environments Division is responsible for conducting research and educating the public about indoor environmental issues, including health risks and exposures that can be reduced.


Formaldehyde is a common chemical adhesive found in carpets, offices and wood paneling can cause health problems such as, coughing; eye, nose, and throat irritation; skin rashes, headaches, and dizziness.

Why does air quality matter?!

The air quality of our indoor environments affects our health and often contributes to structural degradation and building failures within our homes.
