Kingsmen Parent Newsletter

We are Kingsmen, "Strength in Unity," NCM!

Week of September 12th

Kingsmen Families

I would like to thank the parents that were able to join us for coffee with Ms. Currier and our Title I workshop with our counselor Ms. Mallari who shared important information on steps after a progress report. If you were unable to attend here is the link to the counselors presentation.

This week we will continue building on our school climate and culture by having students watch a bullying presentation with our Assistant Principals in their advisory classes. In addition, this Thursday students will be participating in fun activities with their advisory teacher and classmates during their double lunch in our Kingsmen Race.

Attendance is a crucial part of students academic success, please continue to inform our attendance office when your student will be absent. If a student is absent they have an opportunity to make-up an absence and missing work through Saturday school.

If your student has been absent 10% of the school year they are in jeopardy on being put on an attendance contract with the school, even for excused absences.

Please click on the following link to the California Department of Education to read more on the attendance law.LINK
