"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Article 2: New Learning Standards
The new learning standards should help students to excel as thinkers and creators of knowledge. Their learning should encourage them to be contributing members of society and prepare them for further formal education and to pursue multiple careers.
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those that cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.
Article 3: Assessments for Learning
Assessment should be varied and not a one-size fits all, high stakes test. Assessments should provide students, teachers, and the community the opportunity for feedback.
