For science!!! By Chandler Cravey
Two reason for season are revolution and our tilt. The solstices will always be opposite. Antarctica and the south pole. The differences are the summer and winter solstices. The summer and winter solstices are on June 21st and Dec 21st.
The march and fall equinoxes are on March 21st and September 21st. The days can last between 1 day to 6 months during the summer in the north and south pole. There is not distinction on the equator. Without the tilt we wouldn't have seasons. If Earth was tilted on a greater degree then the season would be completely different. People believe that global warming is a natural occurring event that causes season changes. If we were closer to the sun we would either not be able to survive or the summers would be really hot. Our shadows length would change trough seasons because we would face the sun at a different angle. Plants can tell based off of the change in sunlight. The seasons would be shorter and our years would go by faster.
