What's Happening at English Landing this week?
Friday, January 29, 2016: English Landing SPIRIT Day: Wear English Landing Spirit Wear or School Colors (Red, White, and Blue)
Save the DATE! Student-Led Conferences on February 9, 2016
After School: 4:00pm to 6:30pm
Student-Led Conferences are just around the corner. English Landing hosts Student-Led Conferences during the third quarter to provide each student the opportunity to review his/her learning progress with his/her parents or family. This date is not listed on the 2015-2016 Park Hill School District Calendar because it is an event special to our school. The English Landing teachers believe in the importance of empowering students to set individual learning goals and want to provide an opportunity for parents and families to visit their child's classroom and participate in this process. It is also really hard to believe that this school year is flying by so quickly and parents and families haven't visited our classrooms to review learning progress since the end of first quarter which was three months ago.
Please schedule a time for your child's Student-Led Conference with your child's classroom teacher. Classroom teachers have set up Sign-Up Genius links to assist with scheduling.
Thank you!

That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee.
Anyone can nominate an employee for this award by using the form below. It asks you to share how your nominee demonstrates our district values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus.
