Cougar Weekly Update
October 5, 2018
Principal's Message
I am very impressed with the way all students and staff carried out our walking drill today. As part of our safety program students walked to our rally point, Manassas Christian School. This is the location were students would be picked-up by parents. Our secondary rally point is the golf course. We walked approximately 1730 PreK-5th grade students to and from the rally point in about two hours in a safe and purposeful manner. Thanks, also, for the support from all of the “extra” staff members that jumped in to lend a hand by walking with a class and those who helped classes cross streets safely. I also want to give a huge shout out to our partners at Manassas Park Police Department; we couldn’t do this without them; even Chief Evans and Captain Reinhart joined in the fun today!
Monday we will be closed for Columbus Day. Tuesday we will be closed for a Teacher Power Day. We will see everyone back in school on Wednesday, October 10th!
Have a great weekend!
