Safety Guidelines & Measures To Continue As Fall Activities & Sports Begin
1.) Masks/Gaitors - Fall programs will be requiring that student-participants and coaches come to practice each day with a face covering. The preferred face covering for those involved in activities and sports is the "gaitor" style face coverings which allow for quick and easy use. When student-participants are not able to social distance they will be asked to utilize the face coverings at practices and activities. This component is one of the most important pieces in ensuring the safety of students and preventing a large group of students within a program or an entire program from being unable to participate for 14 days because of the health department and MSHSAA guidelines regarding guarantine that we must follow.
2.) Self Check- All student-participants and coaches will be required to perform an 11 question self check prior to coming onto campus. The process and 11 questions can be found below.
3.) Spectators - In order to limit the number of people we have on campus and in our venues we will continue to not allow spectators at our practices and tryouts. Parents should drop their student off and then come back to pick up their student at the conclusion of practice. This is the same process that has been in place since July 1st in all activities on campus.
4.) Water - All students will be asked to bring their own water source each day. It is essential that students hydrate prior to attending their practice and bring their own water source to their activity or sport each day.
5. Hand Sanitizer/Disenfectant - Hand sanitizer and disenfectant will be available at the practice facilities and sights and also from our athletic trainer. Students and coaches will be working to keep equipment wiped down regularly and our custodial staff will be working to disenfect areas following practices and workouts.

Please remember that we are continuing to limit the number of individuals on campus at a time so spectators will not be allowed in our facilities at this time.
This is the same process that we have been following since July 1st when we returned to participation in our activities and sports. Student-participants and parents with questions regarding tryouts should contact their respective coaches. A list of fall coaches with emails can be found below. Good luck to all of our Vikings trying out for a fall activity or sport this season!
