Sunnyland Elementary

"The Scoop"

A Note from the Principal

Dear Sunnyland Elementary School families and neighbors,

We are excited to share with you an update on our plans and progress toward building a new Sunnyland Elementary School on its current campus.

Thanks to voters who approved our February 2018 facilities bond, Sunnyland’s students and our community will benefit from an outstanding new school to discover and develop a passion for learning. We plan to open the new school by fall 2022 with construction slated to begin next spring.

You are invited to attend a family/community project meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 via Zoom.

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the project including the proposed site plan and floor plan and hear from members of the Sunnyland Educational Specifications/Design Advisory Committee, a group comprised of staff, parents, architects, contractors and community members.

We also want to hear from you. You will be ablet to submit questions during the presentation or after via this digital form. Your input means a lot to us!

We appreciate your support of our schools and strive to be good communicators and neighbors. We hope to “see you” Oct. 15 via Zoom. You can also learn more on our website at:
