MASK-OPTIONAL VISITOR POLICY
Fortunately, COVID-19 case numbers within the LPS community have remained very low since the district moved to a "Mask Optional" policy for students and staff on March 7, 2022. As a result, as of April 1, 2022, our masking policy for visitors and spectators transitioned to "Mask Optional" as well. We are no longer requiring masks for visitors or event spectators.

They worked with coins to review their place value skills and shopped for healthy foods from the five food groups! | BURNET HILL Kindergartners at Burnet Hill used marbles and paint for a special project as part of a unit in physical science. They placed marbles in a box lined with paint-splattered paper. The students learned that the marbles might roll, but if they get stuck in the paint they might need an extra force to keep them rolling. | MPE As part of STEAM Unit 4 (Community Problem Solving) 5th grade students at MPE had to help their flooded fictional town of Lancerville build a water tower. There were a number of constraints regarding the building supplies that could be used and the time allowed to build the structure. Their construction had to support the "water" (a can of seltzer). |
