Attendance Update

The goal set by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary education is that 90% of students will attend 90% of the time. In the 2014-15 school year, only 73% of our students met this 90% standard. So far this year, nearly 88% of our students have met the goal of 90% attendance. We are excited by this large increase and have seen it have a positive impact on our daily culture and classroom instruction. Thank you for your patience and support as we have implemented changes to our policies this year.

Post Secondary Success Team

A strong academic background is critical for success after high school. Academic knowledge, although important, is rarely enough on its own to ensure success. In addition to knowledge, there are several other skills that are valued in the careers that students will pursue. These skills include goal setting, perseverance, and self awareness, just to name a few. The newly formed Post Secondary Success Team at ESHS is working to identify ways that these skills can be implemented. Please take a moment to take the survey at the following link to help our team determining what the greatest needs of our students are. Thank you!

Throughout the rest of the year we will be hosting opportunities for parents to come to the high school to learn about events, activities, and programs of ESHS.
