Tips to Ponder
1) Focus on the positive: Depression and anxiety can stem from the constant negativity that comes when situations and issues are challenging.
2) Be Kind to One Another: We do not always know what another person may be going through, so just be kind.
3) Focus on the Joy: Let's face it, there are going to be difficult days. Maybe it was getting out of bed this morning, maybe it is the weather, maybe it is an ongoing situation, or maybe it hasn't happened yet. It can so easy to focus on the things that bring us down, find one thing in each day that brings you joy.
4) Remember your purpose: Each and every day we make decisions that affect the lives of our children. What we bring to the table, we put out into the world. Remain focused on what is truly important... helping our children on life's journey.
5) Take time to rejuvenate: Take 5 minutes each day to just reflect on you. It is easy to get bogged down with the responsibilities life brings, but please take a few moments for yourself. You cannot be for others, when you are not there for yourself. What we put out in the world begins within. Take care of you.
