The Moon
-Lunar highlands
-Crater filled
-Mare
-Fewer craters
-Was thought to be ocean in the past
-Basalt
-Phases of the moon
-Waxing
-Waning
-Causes tides because of gravitational pull
-We only see one side

-When a hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun, it is winter because it receives less direct rays
-It revolves around the Sun in 365 days
Eclipses
