Panther Newsletter
November 13, 2020
a message from principal jensen
Dear Panther Families,
As we embark on the last week before our Thanksgiving break, I am looking forward to spending next week with our students and staff discussing all of the wonderful blessings in our lives.
This week however did bring additional challenges with some recent increases in our COVID 19 numbers. In an effort to be fully transparent, we did have our first student confirmed with COVID 19. We followed the guidelines given by the Maricopa County Public Health Department and had to quarantine a few students in a 4th grade classroom.
Additionally, we have had one staff member test positive in October, one in quarantine and three others awaiting test results. However, due to the continued commitment of our staff, at this time we have been able to make adjustments to ensure all of our students are safe and learning.
As we embark on the holiday season, I feel blessed that every day I get the pleasure of watching educators and students flourish in an environment of curiosity, wonder and love, even during these unprecedented times. Hope your family is able to do this at home, as well.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Best Always,
Paula Jensen
