Who Was Rosa Parks?

Rosa Parks is famous for example she was one of the people who created the bus boycott also Rosa parks was in the Civil Rights Movement . Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913, in Tuskegee, Alabama. Rosa's family was poor they did not have their own house. They lived with her grandparents. The people who lived at the house is Rosa, her grandmother, her brother, her grandpa and her parents.Rosa Parks was very strong because her life was very hard!
Early Life
Rosa Parks wanted to be treated the same and not differently. For instance Rosa wanted to be treated the same because people bossed her around and she got bullied. When Rosa was just a kid she couldn't go to the same restaurant, water fountains, bathrooms, buses and even schools! If you want to know why this is why when Rosa was a kid segregation was still going on. It was going on her whole life! Even know it still didn't stop Rosa Parks made a huge difference!
Bus Boycott
One day Rosa went a bus and the whole bus was filled with people. Rosa was in her seat where she was supposed to be. Then a white man came on the bus. The bus driver walked over to Rosa and said give this white man your seat Rosa ignored him. The bus driver called the police and Rosa got arrested. After she got out of jail Rosa and a couple more people started the bus Boycott. People stayed off the bus and started bus Boycotts because they got mad that Rosa went to jail. The blacks won! And they would be able to on the bus wherever they want to sit.
Her Role In Civil Rights Movment
We need to know about Rosa Parks because her and a couple more people like Dr. Martin Luther King and other leaders stopped segregation on the bus. Rosa Parks got in the Civil Rights Movement. Rosa did many speeches and she got awards for them. That's also why shes in the Civil Rights Movement.
Awards
Rosa Parks did many speeches and for doing that she got many awards. Rosa Parks also received the medal of freedom. Rosa died in October 24, 2005, at age 92.
