*On Tuesday, 1st-4th and 5th-8th grades will have age appropriate presentations from a representative from the state Attorney General's office. Miss Melissa sent home more information in the Wednesday Folder as well as her contact information (melissa.bilynsky@catapultlearning.com) should you have any questions. She also sent home a paper regarding a virtual parent presentation on Tuesday, November 8th at 4:00 PM. We will send out the link closer to that date.
*St. Jerome School will conduct these lessons on Wednesday, October 26th. The lessons are available for you to review by visiting http://www.aopcatholicschools.org/about/programs and clicking on Safe Environment.
*On Friday, our students may wear Phillies shirts in place of their uniform shirts to celebrate the Phillies making their first World Series appearance since 2009! This is completely optional and we are not asking for any donations. Go Phillies!
*For Halloween, we will be having an outdoor costume parade at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 31st. Students in PreK-3 to 3rd are welcome to dress in their costumes and parents and other guests are invited to assemble in the school yard. It is a Halloween themed dress down day for all students (no donations necessary). We will be having activities for the students in the afternoon.
*Winter uniform will begin on Tuesday, November 1st. The uniform requirement handout is available below for reference. Students are welcome to switch to the winter uniform before November 1st, if you prefer.
*Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia made enhancements to their scholarship application this year. They removed the 4 year limit, created a minimum
scholarship amount ($1,200), and updated income requirements. Apply for a scholarship now: www.csfphiladelphia.org/scholarship
*Picture retakes will be on Thursday, November 3rd. If you are having your child's pictures retaken, please send back the original pictures on that morning.
