As the 2021-2022 school year approaches, it’s time to make sure your technology is in good working order!
Please call the help desk at 443-809-4672 or enter a ticket to report an issue with your device or your password as soon as possible. Issues to report include damage, won’t start up, missing charger, etc. These issues could also include a forgotten or non-working BCPS password.
The start of the school year is a very busy time for the BCPS Tech Support Team and there may be significant delays if you wait to request help or report an issue. Act now if you need tech support so the start of the new school year can be a smooth one technologically!

- PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade - September 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m
- 3rd, 4th and 5th grade - September 21st from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
First Grade Early Entry Day
As a kindergarten student your child missed the traditional school entry model for that grade due to our virtual and hybrid learning environment last year. In support of our students’ successful transitions to school we invite our grade 1 students to participate in an Early Entry Day program on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9:05 a.m.- 1:05 p.m.
- Early Entry Day is for 1st grade students only
- Transportation will be provided for students who are bus riders
- A complimentary lunch will be served

While not required, we hope your child will take advantage of this opportunity. Should you have any questions regarding Early Entry Day, please contact us.
The first regular day of school for all students is Monday, August 30, 2021.

Arrival and Dismissal Information
Bus Riders
- Stops and times will be available closer to the end of the month.
Car Riders
- Arrival: Familes are asked to stay in their car and follow the drop off traffic pattern. A staff member will approach your car and assist with the transition into the school building.
- Dismissal: The traffic pattern will remain the same as morning drop off. Students will exit through the rec room doors and taken directly to your car by a staff member. You MUST have your ID present for us to release your child. Your child's safety is our number one concern!
Additional Adult Assistants
Additional assistants are temporary employees who provide support to individual students with moderate to severe disabilities to meet requirements necessary for participation in the school environment. They work under the direct supervision of the special educator who is the case manager for students with Individual Education Programs.This position pays $11.75 per hour and does not provide benefits. Additional adult assistant follow the same hour and schedule as students. The hours are 9:00am-4:00pm
Lunchroom Assistant
To assist in maintaining an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground, and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students at mealtime and at playtime in accordance with Board policy and established district procedures. The hours are 11:00am - 1:00 pm.This position pays $11.75 per hour and does not provide benefits.
