Open House on Thursday

After a two year hiatus, Open House returns to Salford Hills. We're so excited! To control the flow of folks attending, we're asking that those families who's last names begin A-L attend between 5:30 - 6:15; those with names beginning M-Z attend between 6:15-7:00. Of course these are just guidelines. Families can park on the back playground blacktop, any available lined spaces, on Barndt Road, and at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Bus shuttles will run from the church or feel welcome walking on what hopefully will be a beautiful evening.

We hope to see you on the 19th. Our students are excited to share some of their work from the year. The book fair will be open throughout and there will be many other festivities to attend.

We hope to see you!

The entire Salford Hills community is invited to explore the Book Fair and shop during the school Open House on May 19th from 5:30-7pm.

Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to help with our book fair on May 19th. We could use a few more people to help with the set-up on May 18th at 3:10. One of the easiest ways to prepare for tax is to set up an e-wallet ahead of time.

Problems Solved This Year!

We're excited to continue a long standing Salford Hills tradition of honoring Distinguished Readers, a program where students have read the equivalent of 25 books independently. Once a child's book log totals 25, the classroom teacher submits names to the office and Mrs. Connery announces the list of names every Wednesday during morning announcements. In addition, students receive a Distinguish Reader tag.

This week, we're proud to share the following Distinguished Readers. Congratulations!

Home & School Meetings

As a parent or guardian of a Salford Hills student, you are automatically a member of Salford Hills Home & School Association. We invite and welcome you to attend the monthly meetings, usually held on the second Tuesday evening each month. (Babysitting is provided free of charge.) These meetings keep you informed about activities at Salford Hills and HSA activities. All meetings are at 6PM, either outside by the Outdoor Classroom or in the cafeteria, depending on the weather/sunset time.

Meetings for 2021-2022

There are no more meetings this year. See you in the fall of 2022!
