Haunted Book Fair
Students at Yulee Elementary School enjoyed a fun week recently due to their Haunted Book Fair and Nightmare Before Christmas Bingo For Books and prizes. Thanks to the generous donation of 700 books from a local family, Noah and Krystal Minshall, each student in the school received a free book. The Minshalls stopped by and were given a large thank you card signed by all of the students and a small gift. It was a fun and memorable week.

GLOW Day
First graders at Yulee Primary School had a blast during GLOW Day! Students reviewed while playing sight words glow activities, addition and subtraction glow bowling, and missing addend splat. Everyone had a “glowing” good time! They played games while reviewing skills, but everything was glowing under the black lights. Some of the games they played were Jenga and ring toss.

Students also explored the world of coding and robotics by building a Lego snail and programming it to glow. They then applied what they learned during the programming stage to program their snail to be a police officer.
