November News
from Miss Amanda's Studio
Welcome, November!
Here's a few dates to keep on your calendar in the upcoming weeks:
November 16-20 (this week): Skillmasters Performance Classes. Don't miss out on class this week. It's a great way to get in one of your eight performances for the year plus enjoy learning more about music!
November 24-27 (Tues-Sat): Thanksgiving Break—no lessons. Monday students will meet for lessons on November 23rd! Have a great week enjoying friends and family, and don't forget to play your recital piece for them and count it towards one of your performances, too!! Even if it's not "performance" quality yet, they will enjoy hearing how much you progress in the next month...and, yes, you can play it again at Christmas and count it then, too! Lessons will resume on Monday, Nov. 30th.
Saturday, December 5th from 11:10-11:20 (plan to meet at 10:55am): Holiday Ensembles at Haywood Mall (outside of Belks near Santa's workshop). Come join us for a festive ensemble-style performance. I'll be sending home final reminders the week before we play. You're sure to enjoy this!
Sat., December 19th, 9:00am at Bob Jones University’s Stratton Hall: Winter Recital for Miss Amanda’s studio. Be inviting your family and friends now to this special event as we celebrate the music of the season!
December 21st – January 2nd: No Lessons.
Lessons resume on Monday, January 4th
100 Days of Practice!
