DECEMBER NEWSLETTER
Holiday wishes to all of you. This month there are new parent education opportunities on popular topics such as discipline, behavior, and assistive tecnology. Check out the growing list of links for area agencies and resources.
For those of you with students in Secondary Education, there is a College and Career Readiness Event on December 11th at Oakland Schools. See the flyer for a Smore address to RSVP.
{Each month we keep the standard local resource agencies in the newsletter so you have information at your fingertips. NEW EVENTS ARE ADDED EACH MONTH - BE SURE TO KEEP SCROLLING (even if things look familiar). The gray rectangle "button" will take you to the website for the agency listed.}
Please feel free to contact your PAC representatives ANYTIME. We are happy to meet with you and connect you to support and resources for the journey of Special Education.
We hope everyone - students, parents, and staff - enjoy the much anticipated 2-week break to savor rest and connection with our friends and family. We will be back in January with an updated newsletter.

Kindness Calendar: December 2019
World Kindness Day was celebrated on November 13th. It has been said that the difference between being "nice" versus "kind" is that Kindness is solely focused on the benefit of others. You have already pledged a commitment to Kindness! As a parent, caregiver, or staff serving individuals with disabilities and special needs you live out this call to action for Kindness every day. The calendar below offers ideas to expand our acts of Kindness.
