With the help of Stan Freberg Pete's programme includes something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue today. We drop into a big band member in Australia with his choice of a great British band. Something old for us oldies, something new for Christmas, something borrowed from the big band era, and a blue-mood by way of remembering Glenn Miller but the voice of Pat Friday to lift the moment.Event Information

Glenn Miller Remembered.
We lost Glenn Miller on the 15th December 1944. He flew out of RAF Twinwood Farm in poor weather conditions on route to France. He was lost somewhere over the English Channel never to be seen again. We remember him in part 3 of our programmes.

Pete links up with The Gene Martin Show every Saturday
Joining Gene Martin every week is a great thrill for me to get my records of the shelf and dusted and get out some of records I have not played for years, as well as now bringing as many of the British big bands and singers performing today onto the programme.
