First Fridays

What is it???

First Friday is a Sacred Heart tradition, whose aim is to help us grow in our own spirituality. It has three components.

8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Conversation on a topic with peers, Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sacred Heart Educators, parents, alumnae and friends.

9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Mass.

10:15 - 11:15 a.m. The third is an interactive presentation on a topic given by an expert in the field.

Walk ins welcome. No registration required. Come for part or stay for all.

Donations are welcome to help offset the cost of speakers.

8:30 a.m. Book discussion - Zealot by Resla Azlan

9:30 a.m. Mass

10:00 a.m. Sr. Pat Reid, RSCJ – Iconographer will speak about Society of the Sacred

Heart Icons she has written.

May 2

8:30a.m. Topic - What can we do as a family to keep the conversation going over the summer?

9:30 a.m. Mass

10:00 a.m. Mrs. Jayne Collins – Ignatian Spirituality – the Examen a Possible Summer
