Judy Hemphill
Math Intervention Grades 3-5
Education and Experience
I received my bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington where I majored in Anthropology and minored in Science. Years later, I decided to further my education by obtaining a master's degree from Texas Women's University with a major in Educational Leadership.
This school year marks my 20th year as an educator! I started my teaching career in Lewisville ISD where I taught 4th grade for 3 years. After that, I moved to Katy, Texas, which is a suburb of Houston, and taught 7th grade science for 2 years. I've been teaching in Irving for 15 years. I've taught at T.J. Lee Elementary, Lady Bird Johnson Middle School, and Otiis Brown Elementary.
About Me
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my parents, 2 older sisters, 2 nieces, and tons of aunts, uncles, and cousins. This summer we took a vacation to Destin, Florida where we swam and hung out at the beach.
On the weekends, you can find me sweating through aerobic and weight lifting classes at the gym, discoving new eateries, shops, and cultural spots in Dallas, and relazing at home to recuperate from the week at school.
