7th grade ELA

In 7th grade English language arts, we will be beginning our new unit based on the autobiography "Growing Up" by Russell Baker. This story is set during the time period of the Great Depression. Students are exploring the background of the causes of the Great Depression and will be learning about life in the 1930s, as compared to the 2020s.

Lockers are back!

With the colder weather on the horizon, we realize that students will need a place to store their cold weather gear. We have started the process of assigning and practicing with the MS lockers, and P.E. has started to use their locker room and change for gym again.

Disney Cabaret!

Biglerville Theater Ensemble proudly presents...Disney Cabaret!

Since performances were unable to be live and in-person, we bring you this year's fall cabaret virtually! The theme this year was Disney, and you will hear many different Disney movies being highlighted by our students, as well as a few Disney Plus movies. All students in grades 7-12 were able to participate. We hope you enjoy watching our wonderful performers!

Library Happenings

Learning Commons recently held a Coloring Contest! This contest is based on the Day of the Dead, a Mexican celebration when families gather to honor the memory of deceased loved ones. Congratulations to our own Anna Walmer, 8th grade, who won first place!
