in all criminal prosecution the accused shall enjoy the right to speedy and public trail by an impartial jury of the states and district where the crime shall have been commuted which distinct shall have been imperviously ascertained by low and to be informed of the nature and caused of the accusation to be confronted with be confronted with the witness against him to have compulsory process for obtain witness in his favor

Baker v. Wingo
Barker was arrested for murder in 1858. how ever he was not brought to trail until 1963. the reason for his delay include a witness and the wait for a decision in his partners trail for the same crime. baker was soon found guilty once he stood trial. he ask for a peal because he didn't have a speedy trail.
