Administrators' Corner
Teachers, we are starting to have kids in the wrong areas again. Please do not let up on your dismissal routine. If your routine is not effective, please make the necessary changes to make sure our students are safe. They are not safe if they are allowed to walk out before their mode of transportation is called.
Small Group Instruction
Continue to create your intervention groups based on data and other needs as you identify them. Remember that parents should not be surprised about a phone call from you. Content specialists will be checking up with you and supporting you as needed.
Materials Check
ILT will be conducting a check of materials checked out to you. Please do your own materials inventory in your classroom. You should have a check-out system if your students use school/teacher materials. Let us or your content specialist know if you have any questions.
Shout Outs!!
Shout out to Mrs. Leal for being so prepared and ready to go for LPAC meetings.
Shout out to Mr. Rieck for presenting an informative technology session for his team.
Shout out to Mr. Biggs for being our Mighty Cub of the Week!! Mr. Biggs keeps the morning announcement engaging. He participates in coffee club each week and he is always available for advice or to lend an ear.

Do you have a "shout out" you would like to share with the staff? Send it to Mr. Lopez via e-mail or text! Subject line: Shout out!

Cub Coders
Computer Science is a ctitical part of technology learning, and the library addresses this strand through the afterschool Cub Coders Club, which meets biweekly and is helped in great part by our volunteer Mr. Ray from Hess Energy. This week we worked with Ozbots, a tiny bot that responds to both color codes and block codingBook News
We have new books from Margaret Petersen Haddix, the Minecraft novel from World War Z author Max Brooks, and more exciting new titles. We also have the entire Black Panther series penned by award-winning author Ta-Nehisi Coates! Get yours today!
Cover to Cover book club meets this Friday, and we are reading A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. All students and staff are welcome. Thanks to Mr. Rieck, Ms. Escamilla, and Mrs. Morrison for being great reading role models and book club members!
