4-H CAMPS
Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center Retiring
Nebraska 4-H will be retiring our site at the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center near Gretna Effective August 1, 2020. This was an extremely difficult decision. We had to carefully assess the fiscal and programmatic structure of the site and how it aligned with camping trends as well as the local market.
We have enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Nebraska Game and Parks which we look forward to continuing in new and exciting ways. A summer residential program at the Nebraska State 4-H Camp in Halsey will continue to be a flagship experience of our program and we will expanding our summer day camp model in the metro areas as well as providing school based programs, interactive virtual experiences, and do-at-home camping kits.
